UPDATED: More than 4,000 Mississauga homes and businesses were affected by power outage

LATEST UPDATE: As of 12:25 p.m., Alectra reports all power restored.

UPDATE: As of 10 a.m., Tuesday Oct. 19, Alectra reports that 1,855 customers remain affected by the outage as crews continue to fix the problem.

 

Thousands of homes and businesses in Mississauga are without power Tuesday morning (Oct. 19).

Alectra Utilities is reporting a power outage is affecting 4,188 customers in the area between Creditview to Kennedy Road and Highway 403 to Britannia area.

Crews have been dispatched to the area to make repairs.

An estimated return to power is yet to be determined.
