More than 10 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine have now been administered in Ontario.
According to Christine Elliott, Minister of Health, as of Sunday (June 6), 10,109,404 vaccines have been administered to residents across the province.
Further, over the last seven days, one million vaccines have been administered, and more than one million Ontarians have been fully immunized.
Additionally, with more vaccines becoming available to residents, the Province has been accelerating the rate at which residents of younger ages can receive their first dose, as well as the rate at which older residents can begin receiving their second dose.
As of Monday (June 7), all Ontarians 70-years-old or older, and anyone who received an mRNA vaccine–either Pfizer or Moderna–can now book their second dose.
Appointments can be made online through the Province’s website, or over the phone.insauga's Editorial Standards and Policies
