Canadians looking to get away to Disney World in Florida now have more flights from which to choose out of Pearson Airport in Mississauga.
Calgary-based Lynx Air, a new ultra-affordable airline that flies out of Pearson, is now offering its first-ever flights to the U.S. with the announcement last week that it has begun service four times a week to Orlando from Pearson.
The carrier’s inaugural flight to Orlando left the Pearson tarmac this past Friday.

Lynx Air launched service in April of 2022, starting with seven weekly flights between Pearson and Calgary. Later the same month, the carrier introduced daily Pearson-to-Vancouver flights.
Lynx officials said in a press release at the time that their goal is to make air travel accessible to all Canadians with ultra-low fares and a fleet of new Boeing 737 aircraft.
”We have been delighted with the positive response to the news of Lynx’s arrival as Canada’s new ultra-affordable airline,” Lynx Air CEO Merren McArthur said in the earlier press release.
