And just like that, it’s October.

It’s the first weekend of a brand new month and the weather looks like a bit of a mixed bag but who cares? There’s still a lot to do around Hamilton.

If you’re up for a laugh or a taste of arts and culture, there’s likely something happening that will scratch all those itches.

Here are 5 things happening around Hamilton this weekend (Oct. 1, 2 and 3).

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are back at home this Saturday. The Montreal Alouettes are in town to square off against the Ti-Cats. The last time these two came face-to-face at the end of August, the Ti-Cats slaughtered the Alos 27 to 10 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Montreal. Let’s see if our boys in gold and black can keep up the momentum. Kick off is 4 p.m. More information and tickets can be found on the team’s website.

2. OktoberWest
