Mohawk College confirmed one new positive COVID-19 case associated with the Stoney Creek Campus on Tuesday (Mar. 9).

The affected student last attended classes on Mar. 5, according to the college, which says entry and safety protocols were followed while the student was on campus.

The student has been instructed to self-isolate and it was determined by Public Health that some students had casual contact with the infected student.

“Those students have been contacted and provided self-monitoring instructions,” according to a spokesperson for Mohawk College.
