MiWay bus service returns to Mississauga Hospital in August

Three busy MiWay bus routes will resume service to Mississauga Hospital as of Aug. 1 now that construction there has been completed.
Routes 4 Sherway Gardens, 28 Confederation and 103 Hurontario Express will once again operate at the bus layby at the hospital, located at The Queensway and Hurontario St.
The hospital is undergoing major construction as preparations are being made to build an entirely new hospital on the site. The phase of construction that brought about the temporary suspension of MiWay bus service has concluded.
Meanwhile, MiWay officials remind riders that buses will be operating on a holiday schedule on Aug. 1, the Civic Holiday.
However, four routes will not be operating at all on Aug. 1 due to low customer demand. They are:
- 28 Confederation
- 35 Eglinton-Ninth Line
- 46 Tenth Line-Osprey
- 48 Erin Mills
The next scheduled change to MiWay bus operations will take place on Labour Day, Sept. 5.
