MiWay bus and car involved in crash in Mississauga

Extent of any injuries isn't yet known after a car crashed into the back of a MiWay bus on Tuesday afternoon in the city's north end.
The extent of any injuries isn’t yet known after a MiWay transit bus and a car collided on Tuesday afternoon in Mississauga’s north end.
According to reports from the scene, the two vehicles collided on Mavis Road, at Knotty Pine Grove, just south of Highway 407 at about 3:30 p.m.
It’s unclear what led to the crash and there’s no word yet on any injuries. It’s also not known how many people were in the car and on the bus at the time of the mishap.
The bus and car came to a stop on the far right side of the road, with the car’s crumpled front end appearing to be at least partially beneath the rear right side of the transit vehicle near the back tires.
Southbound Mavis Road was blocked off for the investigation.
