Mississauga’s Bianca Andreescu eliminated from German tennis tournament

Mississauga’s Bianca Andreescu has been eliminated from play at Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany.
The 21-year-old fell to No. 3 seed Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 in second round action today (April 21).
Yesterday Andreescu defeated German Jule Niemeier in first round straight sets.
Winner of the 2019 U.S., Andreescu had taken several months off from competition to work on her physical and mental health and the Stuttgart tournament is the first of several she is set to play in this spring.
