Mississauga worker gets finger stuck in compactor – injuries unknown at this time

A garbage truck operator got his finger stuck in a compactor at the Tim Horton’s on Derry Road in Mississauga this morning, with Peel Police and EMS and Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services on the scene in response.

It is unknown at this time the extent of the employee’s injuries.

The man was taken to local hospital by Peel Paramedics.

The Ministry of Labour has been notified.
