Mississauga woman in her 60s injured in a robbery for $20 in Guelph

A Mississauga woman was injured in a robbery in downtown Guelph this week.
The woman in her 60s was attempting to buy a train ticket on Carden Street in Guelph when she woman asked to borrow money on Monday (Jan. 16) around 4:15 p.m., Guelph Police Service says in a press release.
When the woman refused to lend the money, the other woman grabbed her arm and began twisting it before taking a $20 bill from her hand and running away, police say.
The victim returned to Mississauga and sought medical treatment.
The suspect was described as a white female in her late 20s with a bruise on her face.
