Mississauga woman charged after assault at Queen’s Park anti-vaccine protest

A Mississauga woman is facing assault charges after an incident at an anti-vaccine protest near Queen’s Park on Saturday afternoon. 

According to Toronto Police, a 31-year-old woman in a car was assaulted by a protestor as the group briefly tied up traffic along a busy street.  

The woman was not injured. 

Milijana Rupcic, 34, of Mississauga was arrested and charged with assault. 

She’s scheduled to appear in Old City Hall court in Toronto on Oct. 28.
