Mississauga woman celebrates big lottery win

Helen Morin of Mississauga has won the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize in the April 17, 2019 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

“When I found out I won, I started crying and kept looking at the numbers on the ticket,” she told OLG.

Morin, who is a regular lottery player, plans to pay off her debts, look after her family and do some travelling.

The winning ticket was purchased at Rigo’s Variety on Lakeshore Road in Mississauga.

William “Bill” Male of Mississauga has also won $50,000 in the October 16, 2019 ONTARIO 49 draw after matching five numbers plus the bonus number.

“It was nice! I checked my ticket on the OLG Lottery App and saw that I’d won!” Male told OLG.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Hurst Drive in Barrie.
