The Frost Bites food market comes to Square One in Mississauga for three days next week.

Square One Shopping Centre is teaming up once again with Night Market Toronto to host a three-day winter food festival in Mississauga.

The Frost Bites food market runs Dec. 17-19 at Square One, in the P3 parking lot.

More than 10 food vendors, including Chen Chen’s Hot Chicken, Cheesecake in Tha 6, Holy Grill and Lemon Bar, will be on site to provide visitors with a wide array of tasty choices.

“Mississauga’s food story is one of great flavours and incredible diversity. Food is a love language and one that Night Market Toronto is fluent in,” said Tourism Mississauga CEO Victoria Clarke, adding the city’s story can be told through a variety of culinary experiences from tasty treats off a food truck to grab-and-go meals and sitting at tables in restaurants and patios.

Tourism Mississauga has also partnered in presenting the food market, which also includes a giant mailbox for people to send a letter to Santa and special guest The Grinch.

The Grinch will be on hand each day to provide guests with some laughs, oganizers say.

Holiday music and vibrant lights are also part of the festival.

Clarke said such events also help Mississauga residents and businesses, especially during tougher times.

“When it comes to business recovery and showcasing great new ideas, it’s better we go forward together,” she said.

The market will follow all COVID-19 guidelines and safety measures as outlined by Peel Public Health.

The market is open to visitors on Dec. 17 from 3-10 p.m., and Dec. 18-19 from noon-9 p.m.
