Mississauga wedding reception COVID-19 outbreak; guests told to immediately get tested and self-isolate

Anyone who attended a recent wedding reception in Mississauga is now being advised to get tested and self-isolate while they wait for the results.

The wedding happened at the Aga Khan Museum in North York and was followed by a reception at Le Treport Wedding & Convention Centre at 1075 Queensway East in Mississauga last Friday (Sept. 17).

Peel Public Health says there was a confirmed exposure to COVID-19.

“This applies to all guests who attended the wedding, including those who are fully vaccinated,” says public health.

Anyone getting tested from this incident is advised to give testers the following outbreak number: 2253-2021-47456.
