Guests at a Mississauga wedding last month need to get tested for COVID-19.

According to Peel Public Health (PPH), an outbreak of the virus has been traced to a wedding on Nov. 20 at Mississauga Convention Centre at 75 Derry Rd.

Guests who attended the wedding between 5:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. need to “seek immediate testing,” PPH said in a statement.

PPH said anyone who was at the wedding and has not already been tested on or after Nov. 27 need to get tested regardless of their vaccination status.

Individuals also need to self-isolate regardless of vaccination status until they receive a negative test result.

Everyone seeking testing because of the exposure should give testers the following outbreak number: 2253-2021-51320

You can find information on how to get tested for COVID-19 by visiting www.peelregion.ca or searching online for “COVID testing near me” with location services enabled.

Information on how to self-isolate can be found at Coronavirus self-isolation page.

PPH said failure to comply with a self-isolation order can result in fines under the Section 22 Class Order.
