Lovers of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will be excited to hear that they can catch a free concert from the orchestra this weekend.

This Sunday (July 10), the MSO will play a free concert featuring a number of light classics, pops, and popular movie themes at Port Credit Memorial Park.

The event happens at 6:30 p.m. and is part of the city’s Summer Concert Series.

Those who plan to attend are advised to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, as seating will not be provided.

Free parking will also be available at Port Credit Library and Port Credit Memorial Arena, a short distance from the park.

In addition to the outdoor concerts at Port Credit Memorial Park, free concerts are also happening this summer at Streetsville Village Square.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has been active in Mississauga since 1972, and recently wrapped up its 50th concert season with a bombastic performance at the Living Arts Centre’s Hammerson Hall.
