Mississauga should brace for some windy weather

A weather alert has been issued for the city of Mississauga Monday (April 13) afternoon.

Environment Canada says strong gusty west to southwest winds are in the forecast Monday afternoon into the early evening.

A few gusts of 80 km/h may occur, the national weather agency says.

Scattered power outages are possible and loose objects may be tossed around.

The winds are expected to diminish later this evening.
