Mississauga OPP responding to serious truck fire on Highway 401

Police and emergency crews are responding to a vehicle fire this afternoon (Aug. 8).
At 2:25 p.m., Mississauga OPP reported that a fire caused major damage to a transport truck on Highway 401 approaching Trafalgar Road.
No injuries have been reported.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area as clean up continues, and should avoid the area if possible.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
