Mississauga OPP catches transport truck with stolen cars in the trailer

A transport truck was stopped today with some unusual cargo, a pair of stolen cars.
Someone called the Mississauga OPP regarding potentially stolen vehicles in an intermodal container. When officers caught up to the truck on Hwy 427 and Rexdale Blvd they found a stolen Range Rover and a stolen Jeep Cherokee in the trailer.
The OPP announced the stop shortly before 9 p.m.
The driver, unnamed by police, is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property. The investigation is ongoing and Insauga will provide more information as it becomes available.
