Mississauga mother of three will celebrate 20th anniversary in style after big lotto win

Mississauga’s Oksana Sopotnytska plans to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary in style after a big lottery win recently.
The 39-year-0ld mother of three cashed in her Jan. 25 Lotto 6/49 ticket for a cool $207,783, the draw’s second prize.
Sopotnytska says she plays the lottery twice a month and her favourite games are Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max.
“When I checked my ticket on the OLG App and saw $207,783.80, I couldn’t believe it. I tried to call my husband, but my hands were shaky, so I sent him a screenshot,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
The big winner plans to put her winnings toward her daughter’s education and a trip to celebrate her 20th anniversary with her husband.
“We would like to explore Canada, help expand my family business and save the rest,” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K, on Dundas St. in Etobicoke.
