As 2023 rolls in, Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie set a positive tone with her New Year's Day post.

Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie is looking ahead to 2023 as she offered residents a positive look towards the new year.

In her New Year welcome on social media posted early this morning (January 1), Crombie touted the city as “one of the most diverse and welcoming cities in the world.”

“As we usher in 2023, we mark the start of a new chapter and renew our commitment to improving our lives by being better family members, friends, colleagues and neighbours. I hope 2023 is your best year yet, full of opportunity, happiness & prosperity.”

“Mississauga is a caring city… one where everyone can grow and thrive,” she continued.

Crombie continued to set a positive tone for the upcoming year, noting the community has each other’s back. “(Mississauga is) also a place where no matter the circumstances, we will rise together to support one another and do what’s best for our community at large.”
