Mississauga man wins big lotto prize playing one of his favourite games

It took Lloyd Wright more than 10 years of playing the lottery to finally get the, umm, right result.

The 46-year-old Mississauga man collected $50,000 thanks to a winning Daily Keno 10 Pick ticket in the March 8 evening draw.

Wright, who plans to invest his winnings, said he’s been a regular lottery player for more than a decade.

“I play my own numbers and sometimes play Quick Picks. My favourite games are Lotto Max and Daily Keno,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings. “This is my first big win.”

Wright said he checked his ticket using the OLG App.

“When ‘Big Winner’ appeared, I was so excited,” he recalled. “I was so happy to win big.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K, on Mavis Rd. in Brampton.
