Saturnino Jr. Endrina has often joked about his $20 wins playing the lottery.

Well, his latest win is a lot more than that and it promises to put more smiles on his family members’ faces than any of his jokes ever did.

The Mississauga man, a grandfather, won a second prize of $80,754.80 in the Jan. 17 Lotto Max draw.

He checked his ticket using the OLG App and thought he won $80, at first.

“I went to the store and checked it at the ticket checker and that’s when I knew I had a winning ticket in my hands,” Endrina shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I can’t explain how I felt in that moment. I was speechless.”

The lucky winner said he then went home and shared the good news.

“As soon as I got home, I showed my wife the validation slip. I always joke about my $20 wins, so she was excited to see this amount,” he said.

Endrina plans to put some of his win toward his mortgage and bills, take a trip to Europe with his wife and save the rest for a rainy day.

“I feel like I’m dreaming,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Metro, on Erin Mills Pkwy. in Mississauga.
