A countrywide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Mississauga man.

The suspect is wanted for a shooting that took place around 11:12 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 in the area of Delmonte Crescent and Brandon Gate Drive (west of Morning Star Drive at Highway 427).

Police reportedly located a number of shell casings as well as a suspect vehicle that became damaged after colliding with several parked vehicles.

The targeted victim of the shooting was later identified and was found to be uninjured, police say.

The suspect has been identified as Travon Edwards-Bryan, a 23 year old man from Mississauga.

He is described as a black male, 6’4, approximately 170 lbs, with a medium build.

On Sunday, November 25, police executed a search warrant at Edwards-Bryan’s residence but could not locate him. As a result, a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued.

Police believe Travon Edwards-Bryan is a threat to public safety, may be armed and dangerous, and is evading capture.

Anyone with information that can help the investigation is asked to call 911 or contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.
