The suspect was believed to have exercised control over aspects of the victim’s life and profited financially from it between August 2017 and March 2019.

Ross Henderson, 59, of Mississauga, was arrested on Monday (Oct. 18). He faces the following offences:

  • Trafficking in Persons
  • Receiving Benefit Resulting from Trafficking in Persons
  • Material Benefit from Sexual Services
  • Exercise Control
  • Sexual Assault
  • Assault

Henderson was held for a bail hearing and appeared in court on Tuesday in answer to the charges.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
