Mississauga man dies after vehicle leaves road and crashes into tree in Milton

A 32-year-old Mississauga man is dead after crashing his vehicle into a tree in Milton on Tuesday night.

Halton Regional Police say the accident happened shortly after 9 p.m. on 4th Line, south of Britannia Road.

The man was driving his BMW SUV northbound on 4th Line when he lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road and struck a tree.

The man suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The intersection was closed for approximately five hours as members of the HRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit took over and investigated the scene.

Police are asking any witnesses who have yet to speak to them to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747, ext. 5065.
