The Durham Regional Police Central East Division is at 77 Centre St. N. in Oshawa.

Police say a 41-year-old Mississauga man is facing impaired driving charges after failing to stop for police in Pickering.

Durham Regional Police say that on Dec. 29, officers responded to a call about a potentially impaired driver in the Brock Rd. and Pickering Parkway area. Police allege that despite officers’ attempt to stop the vehicle, the driver continued on and drove westbound on the 401.

According to police, officers stopped the vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, in a driveway in Scarborough.

Police allege the driver was impaired.
