Mississauga man calls his $1 million lotto win “life-enhancing”

A Mississauga man is celebrating a huge lotto win.
OLG recently announced that Slawomir Ananko won a Lotto 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on Dec. 17, 2022.
Ananko, a construction worker, told OLG he plays the lottery twice a week.
This is his first big win.
“I’ve been playing my lucky numbers for years and years,” he told OLG.
“I always go to the same store for my tickets. I thought I made a mistake when I scanned it. I saw the $1 million win and thought it couldn’t be real!”
Ananko says he feels great.
“This is life-enhancing. I feel like a million bucks.”
Ananko told OLG that he plans to save his windfall.
“I will save for the future.”
The winning ticket was purchased at U & I Convenience and Lotto Centre on Arbor Road in Mississauga.
