Mississauga Man Arrested in Connection to a Loaded Weapon

Police have arrested a man after finding a loaded weapon, ammunition and drugs in his Mississauga home.
Jasmar Jones, 24, was arrested after police searched his residence on Falconer Drive last Friday (July 29) around 5 p.m.
The search turned up a loaded .32 MAB model semi-automatic firearm, ammunition, and a quantity of drugs. All items were seized by investigators.
Jones is facing seven firearm-related charges as well as one charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice on Saturday for a bail hearing.
Citizens are reminded to contact police if they have any information related to illegal firearms or drugs.
