A 19-year-old man from Mississauga faces more than a dozen charges relating to a child pornography investigation.
Investigators from the Waterloo Regional Police, Peel Regional Police and Toronto Police executed search warrants in Mississauga and Etobicoke on Friday (Jan. 21).
The Waterloo police said they started investigating last July after complaints were made to the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre.
The allegations were about a person with links to Mississauga, Etobicoke and Kitchener.
The 19-year-old from Mississauga faces nine counts of possessing child pornography, and seven counts of making child pornography available. Their name was not released, presumably to protect the identify of the victims.
