Mississauga man arrested after filming himself driving with firearm

A Mississauga resident has recently been arrested for a weapons-related incident.

On Monday, October 14, police say they were made aware of a Facebook video in which a man films himself with a firearm while driving around in his vehicle.

“The investigation lead to the identification of the individual and the firearm in the video was a BB gun,” police say.

Officers located the 22 year old male in the area of Dovetail Mews and Ridgeway Drive. He has been arrested and charged with Weapons Dangerous.

Police thank the public for their support in leading to the man’s arrest.
