Mississauga man, 71, who lives with Alzheimer’s, reported missing

A 71-year-old man from Mississauga who is living with Alzheimer’s disease has gone missing in the city, after last being seen at his home on Friday morning.

The Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Dong Wong, also known as Andrew. He was last seen at his residence in the area of Longford Drive and Thomas Street in Mississauga. His vehicle, a 2011 white Subaru with Ontario licence plates CRBS 659, was last seen at 8:40 a.m., exiting Highway 407 at Hurontario Street.

Wong’s family and police have concerns for his well-being.

Dong (Andrew) Wong is an Asian man who is about five-foot-five and 150 pounds with a medium build. He has short salt-and-pepper hair and is clean-shaven. Wong was last seen wearing a brown winter jacket, dark pants, athletic shoes, and blue prescription glasses.
