Mississauga’s Deon Miller thought he won $5,000. And he was happy.

But when he checked his Daily Keno 10 Pick on the OLG Lottery App he discovered that he was a $250,000 winner. Now he’s really happy.

“I was checking the winning numbers on my tablet and when I recognized them, I thought I won $5,000, so I told my wife,” he shared. “She was excited, and we were jumping around.

Then she told me to check it using the OLG Lottery App – that’s when we realized I had won $250,000! It was pure joy – my wife started running around,” he laughed.

Daily Keno players pick their strategy (from a 2 Pick to a 10 Pick) and pick their bet ($1, $2, $5 or $10) to pick their prize.

Miller said he is a regular player of Proline and Daily Keno and he was also a pretty big winner four years ago when he won $25,000 on a Pick 4 ticket.

The recent win came on the June 17 midday draw.

With his new found wealth, Miller said he will pay off most of his mortgage.

“I feel so happy – what a wonderful experience,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Neighbourhood Convenience on Churchill Meadows Blvd. in Mississauga.
