Mississauga IT Professional Celebrating Huge Lotto Win

A lot of Mississauga are getting very lucky in the runup to the holiday season.

OLG recently congratulated John Sytsma for winning a $100,000 prize in the October 27, 2018 Lotto 6/49 Super Draw.

The Lotto 6/49 Super Draw offered 25 Guaranteed Prize Draws of $100,000 in addition to the main jackpot and the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draw.

“I enjoy playing Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max,” Sytsma said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque.

“This is my first big win.”

Sytsma, a 58-year old IT network support worker, headed to the store to replay his numbers, only to discover his ticket was a ‘Big Winner.’

“I had to check it three or four times,” he told OLG.

The father of one says he plans on helping his daughter and doing renovations in his condo.

“I feel good – it’s nice to have a buffer to fall back on!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Jaekook & Eunhwa Convenience on Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga.
