An upgraded Mississauga house that was listed for close to $1.5 million last year was recently re-listed for about $1.3 million–a drop of about $200,000.
Recently, real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa released a list of GTA homes that were re-listed for at least $50,000 less after not selling at the higher price point. One home on the list is 5458 Tasha Dr., a detached house located in the Churchill Meadows neighbourhood.
“This Mississauga family home has seen a $200,000 reduction in price since it was listed last year. The 3,000 square foot home has recently seen over $250k worth of renovations, including a new, granite kitchen and finished basement,” the story reads.

According to the listing, the home was listed at $1,499,888 last September and eventually terminated. It hit the market again late last month at $1,299,000, but the listing is currently marked as inactive.
Interestingly enough, the listing shows the house was priced at $599,000 in February 2014. It sold 13 days later for $595,000.
According to the listing, the detached house features four bedrooms (one below grade), two kitchens (including one in the basement) and four bathrooms. The house also boasts nine-foot ceilings, pot lights, an upgraded kitchen with granite countertops, a custom backsplash, a gas stove, stainless steel built-in appliances and a large master bedroom with a five-piece ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet.

The basement is finished and boasts a large rec room.
Although the most recent listing has been terminated, the price is in line with the city’s average. According to data from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, the average home price in Mississauga was $1,096,142 last month (all home types combined).
The average price of a detached home in the city is currently $1,536,430.
