The second in the city’s ongoing consultation sessions with Black communities is being held Thursday, May 20, at 6 p.m.

Titled Accessing Mississauga Resources, the sessions will specifically aim to empower Black communities by both inviting them to learn more about how to access the resources of the City as well as provide feedback to the City on how it might deliver those services to better serve Black communities and their needs.

Three breakout sessions will follow the initial session: How can the city make programs more accessible or supportive of Black families and youth?; How can the city make programs more accessible or supportive of Black seniors and those with accessibility needs?; How can the city better promote Black culture and history.

The sessions are virtual. Those interested can sign up here.
