Mississauga Hospital employee charged with sexual assault

A part-time Patient Care Assistant at Mississauga Hospital has been charged with sexual assault of a patient.

Investigators from Peel Police’s Special Victims Unit arrested William Soto, 32, who worked part-time at the Trillium Health Mississauga location. Soto, a Toronto resident, appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 12.

Police allege that Soto committed a sexual assault on a vulnerable elderly female patient in early November. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of incident.
