Mississauga highway traffic slowed by collision

Traffic on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Mississauga was slowed Thursday night (Dec. 16) due to a collision.
All lanes and the shoulder of the Toronto-bound QEW were blocked at the West Mall due to a disabled vehicle. Reports online said that a transport truck that collided with another transport truck. Drivers’ ability to keep tractor-trailers in their lanes was challenged on Thursday night by strong winds, although an Environment Canada special weather statement about the powerful gusts was officially lifted at 5:16 p.m. on Thursday.
