Rick Hansen Secondary School in central Mississauga is in partial lockdown after a fight among five students injured one teen this afternoon (March 1).

Peel Regional Police say the student’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening and no weapons were seen, but the high school has been placed in hold-and-secure mode as a precaution.

The call to the Dreamcrest Rd. school was received just after 1:30 p.m.

Peel Paramedics treated the victim at the scene, and it’s not yet known if the student was taken to hospital.
