Emergency crews battling a blaze in Mississauga are asking residents to stay clear of the area.

Mississauga Fire say flames were shooting through the roof of a detached garage on Marf Ave. near Revus Ave. just before 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

Crews were able to knock down most of the flames and investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.

No injuries have been reported, but Peel Regional Police asked people to avoid the area while first responders are on scene.
