A Mississauga resident is celebrating with his family after a lottery win.

Armoogum Sanguni Nair of Mississauga has won $100,000, the top prize with Instant Crossword Tripler, according to a release from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission (OLG).

Armoogum, a father of four, says he’s a regular lottery player. He plays Daily Keno and buys Instant lotto tickets.

He checked his scratch ticket at the store and was thrilled to discover he had won.

“I saw the $100,000 prize amount and I was very happy. My daughter was the first person I told! She was very happy,” he said.

He doesn’t have plans for his windfall just yet.

“I’m still deciding. It’s a complex feeling,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Becker’s Convenience on Mississauga Valley Boulevard in Mississauga.
