Organizers of the Mineola Community Ride are inviting cyclists to take a scenic trip around south Mississauga tomorrow.

The Mineola ride, one of several organized community cycling events throughout the city, takes participants from the starting point of Port Credit Arena, and through the community’s shaded, tree-lined boulevards where cyclists can enjoy nature.

Follow the Credit River and enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbour, ride organizers say.

Both 5- and 10-kilometre routes are available for participants to take.

Organizers say that in place of in-person group rides, cyclists can take photos along the ride and then share on social media afterwards using hashtag #SaugaCommunityRides.

Participants are reminded to follow rules of the road, obey shared trail etiquette and that helmets must be worn by those under the age of 18.
