Following police investigation, a Mississauga man is facing multiple charges for sexual assault, voyeurism, and child pornography.

In April of this year, officers from Peel Regional Police’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit arrested 47 year old Sean Jackson for alleged offences related to child pornography.

“Further investigation revealed other alleged sexual assault and voyeurism offences involving Sean Jackson during his time as a camp counsellor at ‘Camp Kennebec’ in Arden, Ontario,” said police.

Police say he worked as camp counsellor and music instructor for 19 years (from 2002 to 2021) at Camp Kennebec, a summer camp for youth, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some campers may have known him as “Rocker Sean.”

Jackson has also worked in Peel Region as an unlicensed personal support worker for persons with varying abilities, according to police.

On Wednesday, April 27, Jackson was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Accessing Child Pornography
  • Making Available Child Pornography

He was arrested again on Thursday, June 2 and charged with Sexual Assault, four counts of Voyeurism, and Fail to Comply With Release Order.

He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing on Thursday, June 2.

Investigators believe there may be more victims, and are encouraging victims and anyone with information to contact the Internet Child Exploitation Unit at 905-453-2121 ext. 3490, or anonymously contact Peel Crime Stoppers.
