Mississauga, Brampton see 60 new COVID-19 cases while Ontario has 486 today

There were 60 new COVID-19 cases in Mississauga and Brampton today (October 16).

However, Ontario is reporting 486 new cases today, down 10 from Friday.

In today’s cases, 282 of the individuals are unvaccinated, 22 are partially vaccinated, 157 are fully vaccinated and 25 have an unknown vaccination status.

In other areas, there are 13 in Halton, 8 in Durham and 24 in Hamilton.

That makes six days-in-a-row under 500 new cases, a downward trend that has many believing Premier Doug Ford will relax the pandemic restrictions on restaurants, bars and gyms this coming week.
