Mississauga band to perform first hometown show of the year

An award-winning band from Mississauga will be performing their first hometown show of the year soon.

The Dreamboats is a four-piece band which has been together since 2009 and is returning home to play in Mississauga for one night only.

The all-ages show will take place at the Rec Room at Square One on June 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The band is known for its award-winning tunes inspired by the ’50s and ’60s music they know and love and aim to “bring back sounds from this timeless era forward for a new generation to discover.”

The band is also known for their high-energy shows that have their audiences dancing the night away.

“We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be playing our first hometown show of 2023 at The Rec Room (Square One) on Friday, June 9,” wrote the band in an Instagram post.

“This venue has a great stage, an awesome atmosphere and it’s an all-ages event.”

The band, which is currently playing shows in California, will also be stopping in Toronto to perform at the El Mocambo on June 3.

Tickets for the Mississauga show are on sale now for $25.
