Mississauga comic artist Megan Huang is among tens of thousands of creators and fans alike who are excited about the return this weekend of one of the largest comic book and pop culture events in Canada.

Huang, who has worked on the popular American all-ages comic book series Princeless, is appearing at Toronto Comicon, running today through Sunday (March 18-20) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

It marks the widely anticipated return of the huge fan event, which was cancelled the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual comic book and pop culture convention has been held in Toronto since 2001.

Huang has worked on numerous comic book series over the years in addition to graphic novel Jia and the Nian Monster, published in 2020.

This past October, she appeared at the annual Mississauga Comic Expo (MCX), a fully virtual convention with numerous events that took place over  two-plus weeks.

Among other activities, Huang participated in sketch challenges with visitors to MCX.
