Mississauga and Oakville Portuguese community invited to try curling

Here’s an opportunity for members of the Portuguese community in Mississauga and Oakville to try curling and get swept away.

Local Portuguese residents are invited to learn about the sport and have some fun with help of the Portuguese National Curling Team on Saturday (Sept. 24) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club.

All ages six and over are welcome to come out to the free event. There will be prizes, giveaways and food.

Participants are encouraged to wear warm, stretchy and comfortable close with clean running shoes. No ripped jeans are allowed.
