UPDATE – Missing woman Madison Chard found dead in Port Hope

Port Hope Police are reporting that a woman found dead in a wooded area of Port Hope is Madison (Madi) Chard, who has been missing since April 19.
Investigators from Port Hope Police are working with the OPP on the case. They had believed Chard was a victim of human trafficking and may have been brought to Oshawa.
Chard’s father Mark appealed to people to take down all posters of her daughter. ” She’s at rest with the angels. Thank you to everyone who tried to help in this very broken world.”
