Missing Welland woman requires medication she left at home

MISSING PERSON: 55-year-old Welland woman.

Niagara Regional Police Service are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Welland woman who requires medication.

Beverly Werkmeister was last seen in the area of Moyer Rd. and East Main St. when she left her residence on foot shortly before 9 a.m. this morning (June 12).

Werkmesiter may be travelling to the area of Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Queenston St. near Spring St. in St. Catharines.

The 55-year-old woman is described as being 5’7” tall, 110 lbs, white, with long brown hair.

Werkmeister is believed to have been wearing a brown, pullover sweater, grey track pants, and blue and green running shoes.

This woman has been diagnosed with a medical condition that requires medication.  Police as well as her family are concerned for her welfare.
