MISSING: Peel Region police are actively looking for a missing 11-year-old

A child has been reported missing by police in Peel Region.

Peel Regional Police have stated today (Nov.17) on X (formerly Twitter) that an 11-year-old named Keon of Peel Region has been officially reported as missing.

The youth was last seen earlier this afternoon on board a Durham transit vehicle in the Durham area.

MISSING CHILD:

-Keon, 11yrs
-L/S via camera on board Durham transit at approx. 3PM.
-Likes to ride busses and Trains.
-Desc: 5’6”, thin build, short black afro-style hair.
-Wearing: khaki jacket, teal T-shirt, black pants.
-If seen dial 9-1-1

Keon, according to police, has been known to frequent buses and trains, as he enjoys them.

He has been described as 5’6”, possessing a thin build, and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a khaki jacket, a teal T-shirt, and black pants.

Police are urging anyone who sees Keon to contact emergency services immediately.
